Engaging Parents in Career Conversations
This is an online resource available to career practitioners to engage parents in the career development of young people in schools, Learn Local and VET providers. It includes resources to help schools work with parents of students with a disability to have positive career discussions that will enhance a smooth transition to suitable post school options.
Career Action Plan
All students are required to complete an annual Career Action Plan that reflects their increased career development learning. The plan helps young people to set their goals and reflect on career development activities taken throughout the year.
Workplace Learning provides students practical experience to learn more about their career choices. This includes work experience, volunteer programs, Structured Workplace Learning and also A Job Well Done; a program that helps students with a disability prepare for work experience and understand occupational health and safety.

Is a set of resources to help students with a disability prepare for work experience. It also aims to build the knowledge and capacity of the career practitioners and teachers to support these students.
