Information for Education Providers

Information for Education Providers

Young people need to participate in a variety of workplace learning activities whilst they are still in education to assist in their development of a realistic understanding of the world of work.

These activities can help students to:

  • develop employability skills;
  • explore possible career options;
  • understand employer expectations; and
  • increase their self-understanding, maturity, independence and self-confidence.

IMVC can provide information sessions to provide advice, information and resources on VET, SW and local skills shortages.  IMVC is also available to assist with youth induction/work readiness programs.

For more information about the Workplace Learning Program please contact [email protected]u or call IMVC on 03 9686 2354.
