IMVC Board

Our Board of is made up of people a vast range of skills and experience who live and work in Melbourne and Victoria.

This dedicated group of volunteers give their time and resources to help ensure that IMVC provides the highest possible level of quality services for the individuals, schools and organisations we work with every day.

personPatricia Van Lint

Chair

Patricia van Lint is the Chair of the IMVC Committee of Management. Patricia has over 25 years of experience and leadership in linking young people, especially those considered ‘at risk’, to employment and training programs. She has strong skills in governance, having held positions on numerous Local Learning and Employment Network and not-for-profit Boards. Patricia has served on the IMVC Board for eleven years.

Tracey Fenton

Treasurer

Tracey Fenton has worked in the adult education and employment area for over 20 years. She has extensive experience in RTO compliancy, youth services and strong networks in local communities. Tracey also works with migrant populations including those newly arrived to Australia and long term residents with language barriers. Tracey is currently the Partnerships & Strategies Manager for Taskforce Community Agency. She has excellent fiscal management skills and is the current Treasurer of the IMVC Board. Tracey has served on the IMVC Board for eight years.

Steven Bebend

Board Member

Steven Bebend has over 20 years’ experience in a broad range of strategic and operational Human Resource functions. He has extensive links in community development, within government and business sectors. Through targeted programs, Steven has fostered relationships with various associations to provide work placement opportunities, especially for special need students. Steven currently co-ordinates the Human Resources subcommittee of the IMVC, and has served on the Board for eight years.

Peter Farley

Board Member

Peter Farley has over 35 years’ experience in the engineering and manufacturing sectors. He is the recipient of a number of awards including the Prince Philip Prize for Industrial design and the Jack Finlay Award from Institution of Production Engineers for service to Australian Manufacturing. Peter was also a member of the Australian Delegation to International Manufacturing Systems. For the last eight years he has been successfully consulting to companies in the USA, UK, Turkey, Italy and Australia. Peter’s strategic understanding and contacts have proven invaluable for the IMVC. He has served as Board member for four years.

Annette Travers

Board Member

Annette Travers holds a number of qualifications including a Bachelor of Social Work, a Bachelor of Education and Arts, and a Graduate Diploma in Computer Education. Annette is currently the Career Practitioner at Melbourne High School, and has also held the position of VCE Curriculum Coordinator at Elwood College. She has been a Member of the Curriculum Committee, and is a staff representative on school council. Annette was also the VICE President of the Victorian Association of TESL and Multicultural Education (VATME). She has served as a Board member for five years.

Pamela Hargreaves

Board Member

Pam Hargreaves is an Education Consultant for Independent Schools Victoria. Pam holds a Bachelor of Education, a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology, the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Diploma of Secretarial Studies. Pam represents Independent Schools Victoria on many government working parties. Pam has also worked as a secondary school teacher and a tutor in the tertiary sector for many years. 2012 was her first year as Board Member.
