Re-engagement Programs

Re-engagement Programs

IMVC’s re-engagement programs are delivered to increase the engagement and social inclusion of young people.

Our re-engagement programs aim to find and connect with young people who have been away from school, education or training for an extended period.

Building trust over time, our youth team encourages each participant to get involved with re-engagement activities and utilise the individual support services offered through IMVC youth services.

IMVC’s proactive, youth-focused re-engagement activities are designed to address personal barriers, develop greater resilience, efficiency and social skills, and help the young person to reconnect with learning, family and the community.

Current programs include:

Making Alternatives Possible (MAP) Program

Delivered by IMVC, the MAP Program is designed for young adults who are seeking an alternative learning environment to mainstream schooling.
